Sehat Kahani Going Mobile to Make Pakistanis Healthier
Pakistan is seeing a healthy growth of digital health and care start-ups. Sehat Kahani is one of the first ones. They are known for their network of e-clinics where over 1500 qualified female doctors have been treating patients from home mainly in low-income communities through telemedicine.
With the new mobile app, the ambitious team is looking forward to increase their reach and make healthcare easily accessible to more households in remote conditions.
Sehat Kahani app was introduced at Nest I/O, Karachi. Nearly designed invites sent out to guests was packaged with a small healthy plant. The launch was a full house event. Presence of Sehat Kahani's well-wishers was a deserved encouragement and a clear indication of success of their efforts in the field. Nest I/O was packed with guests from leading corporates, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, insurance and banks. Social media influencers showed up to spread the words and Karachi based doctors from Sehat Kahani's network were also present to support the new chapter of their company.
10Pearls, Unilever, Adamjee Life Insurance, Kidco, PharmEvo, and Jazz Cash joined Sehat Kahani as partner to scale them up into new venture and enable the company to go a long way in creating a positive change in patients’ lives.
CEO Sehat Kahani, Dr. Sara Saeed Khurram, COO, Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga shared untold stories of the journey. Mr. Zeeshan Aftab, Managing Director of Sehat Kahani's strategic partner 10Pearls announced they will be using the Sehat Kahani App for OPD coverage of their employees.
The mobile application connects patients to one of network's finest doctors in Audio/video consultation. App enables patients to log their health history and chats. Sehat Kahani app also facilitate from obtaining a prescription to get medicines and lab test reports delivered to home. The app will offer convenience for people who work hard to make ends meet for their families.
