Pakistan will see a good Boost in Nokia N8 sale soon - prices coming down fast

I think sales of Nokia N8 in Pakistan will be starting to boost up as prices are coming down fast.

There are tons of new smartphones are coming out every month from brands we always love to brands we never heard of. But in Pakistan for the time being Nokia is the King for mobile phones especially after Sony Ericsson is no where in sight (sad to see this).

N8 will be the device that will start to attract more people for a few reasons:
- its Nokia
- its beautiful looking device
- its Symbian (most people here consider Symbian as only platform that install mobile software)
- its 12mp camera (most people will not consider all the high tech used behind this masterpiece camera unit, numbers alone are enough to impress them, its the same case as any other part of world)
- its touchscreen

And the last and most important
- prices are coming down fast thanks to new lineup like E7

At the time of writing this the rates are hanging somewhere around Rs. 38,000 at many places in Pakistan, and are coming down.

Many people I met still think 5800 is latest from Nokia, so this is consumer market I am talking about and talking to.

N8 has not only 12mp, it is one of its kinds, and it is still The Best camera unit. Not because it is 12mp, but because the technology used in it is superior and it is also not only because the Carl Zeiss Optics or real Xenon Flash.

N8 has Symbian, but it is brand New Symbian called Symbian 3. For now it does look like the old Symbian but very soon you will get a brand new look for it. It is better, functional, fast and improved than the old Symbian.

N8, unlike the other N-series sets is very slim, very solid and the most beautiful, sexy and advanced looking smartphone. N8 is available in different colors. Body is metallic (anodized aluminum casing) which gives a pleasure to feel when holding it.

N8 is equipped with state-of-the-art features. If you read international sites and blogs you will learn people are saying it is slow and out-dated technology. It is because of N8 being compared to high-end smartphones that costs Rs. 60,000 and more. In Pakistan we are using slower smartphones without knowing and without complaining simply because most of us don’t do what 'others' do, like watching full HD movie on youtube over the mobile phone.

N8 however is a good entertainment device compare to competition that doesn't exist in Pakistan for now. It supports and play almost all commonly used audio and video formats. It doesn't stop here, N8 can play youtube, and not only this if you are a proud owner of a big screen - you can connect it to your N8 and enjoy everything on super massive screen.

N8 and Internet browsing are not best friends yet, it is one of the most pointed issues. The default Internet browser is not satisfying regular and heavy mobile Internet users around the world but again, keep in mind we in Pakistan are not that heavy Internet users on the mobile devices yet. There are some heavy users but not many just to be clear my self. Good thing is that we have Opera Mobile and Opera Mini, world's best Internet browsers to not to worry about this part.

N8 is not a business device but if you are in business of dealing with creativity and art, N8 is your perfect business companion. For businesses like Production houses, Boutiques, Photographers, Jewelry makers, Real estate, Modeling agency, Interior designer, Freelance Bloggers, Event and Wedding planner, News reporters and alike professionals will find not another suitable mobile device for some long time in Pakistan for such a great price.

N8 has simple but effective video editor onboard to edit videos you took from N8's master cam.

N8 also has a new technology called Active Noise Cancellation to improve your call voice quality when you are talking on phone while outside or in a very noisy place. N8 has ability to reduce other noises but the caller's.
